When is ‘Dandadan’ season two coming out in the UK?

Dandadan was one of the breakout anime shows of 2024, and its second season is just around the corner.

Based on the manga series of the same name by Yukinobu Tatsu, Dandadan follows high school classmates Momo and Okarun who find themselves hunted by aliens, ghosts and other paranormal beings after gaining supernatural powers.

The 12-episode first season debuted to critical acclaim in October 2024, and it has since been nominated for Anime Of The Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Dandadan was renewed for a second season in December.

When is the release date for Dandadan season 2?

The second season is set to premiere worldwide on July 3, 2025 across Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu.

If you want to catch the first three episodes early, along with an exclusive interview with co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora, these will be screened in cinemas across Europe from June 7, 2025 as part of Dandadan: Evil Eye.

A synopsis for Evil Eye reads: “In this new arc, Momo and Okarun set out on their latest adventure, traveling to a hot springs town home rented by Jiji, Momo’s childhood friend and former crush, with the goal to solve the mystery surrounding his family.

“When they arrive, strange locals derail their investigation before it can properly begin, and the group soon learns there’s more lurking under the surface of the town than they could possibly have imagined.”

Where can I watch Dandadan in the UK?

The entire first season is available to stream on Netflix and Crunchyroll in the UK.
