This year’s Ford Fair is about more than just epic builds and turbocharged vibes—it’s a tribute.
During the lunchbreak at the UK’s biggest Ford event, a special charity parade lap will take place in honour of the late Dean ‘Deano’ Lewis, a true icon of the modified Ford community who tragically passed away earlier this year.
Leading the parade? Deano’s legendary duo—‘Bluey’, his beloved Mk1 Escort, and ‘Poppy’, the famous, fire-breathing Mk2 Focus RS that turned heads and melted hearts wherever it went. These cars aren’t just builds—they’re pieces of Deano’s soul, and seeing them roll through Silverstone together will be a moment to remember.
50 exclusive parade spots were arranged via Will Fraser at Greenlight Insurance and Ryan Beedon at Airtec Motorsport, and unsurprisingly, they were snapped up in no time. Each space represents a donation that will go directly to Deano’s sons—supporting the family he cherished.
Although the parade is now fully booked, if you’d like to contribute to Deano’s legacy and help his boys, donations are still being accepted. Anyone who would like to contribute can do so by contacting Will or Ryan directly.
Deano wasn’t just another face in the paddock—he was a larger-than-life character with unmatched passion, infectious energy, and a massive influence on the modern Ford scene. From late-night garage sessions to front-row Ford Fair showings, he inspired a whole generation of modifiers to dream bigger, go harder, and have a laugh doing it.
Join us this year as we celebrate a true legend. Rev those engines, raise a cheer, and let’s give Deano the tribute he deserves—Ford style.
