The new Into the Unjust update for Helldivers 2 has been revealed, and starting September 2, players can finally go underground in their quest to bring Managed Democracy to the Terminid hordes–and they’ll also be bringing several million tons of devastating explosives. Helldivers will discover what lies behind the mysterious Gloom shroud that has enveloped several Hive Worlds, as squads will venture beneath the surface of these planets.
The catch here? Because these missions take place underground, your Super Destroyer won’t be able to give you full support, so you’ll need to sharpen your skills if you hope to survive against a new subterranean species of Terminids and find the source of the Gloom.
The good news is that a new Premium Dust Devils Warbond will also be available, giving players a new selection of weapons, grenades, stratagems, and fancy capes to equip before they head into battle. You can take a closer look at all of this new equipment below.
Helldivers 2 launched on Xbox Series X|S today, which means that the ongoing war just got a sizable number of reinforcements. Sony first announced in July that it was bringing Helldivers 2 to Xbox, and developer Arrowhead also began teasing a Halo 3: ODST crossover. This has been officially revealed, and you can click this link to see the new gear in all of their nostalgic glory.
As a reminder, the warbond can be purchased for 1,000 Super Credits, the premium currency that you can find in small caches in each level, or if you’re in a rush, you can spend $10 to buy a stack and dive right into the new gear.
AR-2 Coyote
The first assault rifle with incendiary rounds, the AR-2 Coyote offers substantial firepower for troopers.
G-7 Pineapple
This cluster grenade can rip enemies to pieces when it detonates.
S-11 Speargun
You only get one shot with the S-11 Speargun before you need to reload it, but the projectiles from this weapon can release a cloud of deadly gas after impact.
EAT-700 Expendable Napalm
A fire-and-forget rocket launcher, the EAT-700 detonates with a package of napalm cluster bombs.
MS-11 Solo Silo
Have you ever wanted to call down a Hellpod-sized missile silo? You can do just that with this strategem, as the little silo contains an ultra-powerful missile and a handheld targeting remote that can be used to level the playing field.
DS-42 Federation’s Blade
Designed to capture the essence of armies marching through the desert, the armor is equipped with the Desert Stormer passive ability that grants resistance to fire, gas, acid, and arc damage. It also increases the throwing range for its wearer.
DS-191 Scorpion
Another armor option for Helldivers, the DS-191 Scorpion also comes with the Desert Stormer passive ability equipped.
And everything else
Rounding out the new gear from the Premium Warbond are new titles, emotes, and patterns for players to collect.
- Title: Burier of Heads
- Emote: Raider’s Cheer
- Pattern: Rattlesnake for vehicles and Hellpods
