Are you hoping to learn about all the endings in Revenge of the Savage Planet? Your adventure takes you to various worlds across the stars, though certain mission arcs also lead to an eventual conclusion. Since we’re going to discuss these details, this article, naturally, has major spoilers.
How to unlock all endings in Revenge of the Savage Planet
As of the time of this writing, we’ve discovered three unique endings in the game:
- The first involves defeating Mecha Slappi.
- The second requires fully repairing the Javelin so you can return to Earth.
- The third requires helping Martin Tweed with several tasks, before launching the Javelin.
Ending 1: The Fall of Slappi
The first Revenge of the Savage Planet ending is actually the conclusion of the main story. Throughout the campaign, a mysterious individual keeps contacting you about the strange frequencies emanating in specific areas. Later, once you’ve collected all your gadgets/tools, you’re informed about shrines with trials and an artifact called the Pentaforce.
We’ve got all the details for you in our Interstellar Enigma guide, but here’s a quick summary nonetheless:
- There are five trial shrines in the game. Once you’ve completed the challenges, you’ll receive a piece of the Pentaforce.
- Upon gathering all Pentaforce pieces and finishing the related research, the Planet Cannon blasts you off to the fifth world in the star system: Slappi’s Den of Fun.
- You then have to defeat Mecha Slappi, the game’s final boss. This nets you the “Entertained… To Death” achievement.
The ending cutscene is rather brief. It shows the destruction of Mecha Slappi and your character hitting the reset button of the actual Slappi (a tiny robot). Once the credits stop rolling, you can watch a message from Slappi in your hub. Likewise, you can buy a Slappi toy for your hub, too.
Ending 2: Javelin Joke Ending
The second Revenge of the Savage Planet ending is unlocked by completing the Roundtrip 2.0 quest. You can learn about all the steps in our Javelin repairs guide. Here’s a quick summary:
- Raise the Javelin from the swamps and clean up all the gunk.
- Find and scan the other crashed Javelins and complete the related 3D Printer projects.
- Launch the Javelin to trigger a cutscene. This nets you the “Hasta La Vista” achievement.
This is somewhat of a joke ending, to say the least. The cutscene shows the Javelin lifting off from Stellaris Prime, as your character sets out on their return trip to Earth. That said, you’re also told that only a janitorial position awaits you once you’re back home.
Ending 3: Tweed’s Revenge
The third ending, in some ways, is also what we consider as the true ending or secret ending. We discuss all the details in our Tweed’s Revenge guide, but here’s what you need to know:
- Complete the Tweed’s Revenge mission by finding evidence of Alta’s wrongdoing. You need to scan 13 specific objects in total across multiple planets.
- You can also push back against Alta’s “Nastygram” threats by taking out targets in your base in Nu Florida.
- Launch the Javelin after gathering all the evidence for Tweed. This nets you the “Revenge Is Best Served via the Internet” achievement.
The Javelin launch cutscene plays normally, but that’s followed by a Tweed telling you that he’s ready to sue Alta InterGlobal. Later, when you return to your hub, a newscast informs you that Alta’s higher-ups have been imprisoned thanks to Tweed’s exposé.
In any case, that does it for our guide on how to get all Revenge of the Savage Planet endings. If you’ve done all the aforementioned tasks, then you’ll also receive the “Side Notes” achievement for completing all core side quests.
