Overwatch 2 Season 18 Teases Persona Collaboration

It’s become a tradition for Overwatch 2 to tease upcoming collaborations when previewing new seasons. The latest trailer for Overwatch 2 Season 18 is no exception. After laying out some of the new features heading to the game, the video concluded with a silhouette of Joker from Persona 5.

Assuming the Overwatch 2 x Persona crossover follows the example set by the game’s previous collaborations, a handful of the former’s characters will get new costumes based on the latter’s iconic heroes. For now, Blizzard hasn’t shared any further details about the new collaboration or when it will launch in-game. Some of the previous collaborations have given Overwatch 2 heroes costumes from G.I. Joe, Transformers, Street Fighter, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

In the meantime, Blizzard is spreading the word about Season 18’s Stadium Quick Play, which will feature shorter match times, a quicker item economy, and cross-play support. Winston, Brigitte, and Pharah will be available at the launch of Stadium Quick Play, with Tracer slated to arrive mid-season.
