Wayne’s World 2 4K Blu-ray Special Features
Wayne’s World 2 4K Blu-ray includes a modest collection of special features, the most notable of which is a new commentary track from director Stephen Surjk that’s included with the 4K and 1080p versions of the film. Here’s a look at all the included extras:
- Audio commentary with Director Stephen Surjik (4K and 1080p versions)
- 14-minute Extreme Close-Up: Featurette
- 6 US TV Spots
- 2 UK TV Spots
- Teaser Trailer
- Theatrical Trailer
While it’s not quite as popular as the first film, Wayne’s World 2 still has plenty of charm. The sequel revolves around TV hosts Wayne Campbell (Mike Myers) and Garth Algar (Dana Carvey) working to organize a major music concert dubbed Waynestock, and naturally, the duo encounter a few challenges along the way. Christopher Walken also stars as a slimey record label executive who tries to steal Wayne’s girlfriend, Cassandra (Tia Carrere).
If you want to revisit the original, the first Wayne’s World also got a 4K Blu-ray release back in 2022 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the cult-classic comedy. It’s worth noting that there are barely any extras on this copy–just audio commentary from director Penelope Spheeris, a small featurette, and a trailer–and there’s no standard Blu-ray included with legacy features, but it still got a pretty nice visual upgrade. You can grab it for just $14.81 (was $26) at Amazon.
