What’s so good?
Been off Indie Shuffle for a bit, but figured I’d tiptoe back in with a snack-sized track that’s barely longer than the time it takes to microwave popcorn.
Enter Dominic Fike— another SoundCloud alumni turned streaming sensation. Thanks to social media’s magical hype machine, this guy’s racked a bunch of Spotify stream, and for good reason.
“misses” might be his first hit. More on the typical indie rock side of the spectre, it’s chill, smooth, and low-key nods to the classics while keeping it fresh. Sadly, it clocks out at a criminally short 1 minute and 14 seconds.
Bonus trivia: Fike’s not just musically gifted—he’s got acting chops too. You’ve probably seen him brooding in HBO’s Euphoria, doing that whole tortured-yet-enigmatic routine like a pro.
