ANIMA! has released “Rest in Peace”, a glorious single from their upcoming album Water.
Listening to “Rest in Peace” feels like witnessing a cosmic object for the first time—a comet burning up in space, a shooting star scattering across the horizon, a black hole devouring everything around it. The track has heft and structure, while still providing a sense of release, like the embrace of gravityless space. Suddenly, we are all floating together, looking at our little blue planet.
“Rest in Peace” is beautiful, intentional, and reflective. Water is set for release on September 19, followed by a US tour.
