Xbox Game Pass Is Losing These Three Games Soon, Including An Advance Wars-Like Title

Buh-bye

Microsoft has announced a trio of titles will leave Game Pass on September 15, headlined by Wargroove 2. The strategy sequel shares a commonality with Nintendo’s Advance Wars series and actually arrived on PC and Switch first before hitting Xbox as a day-one Game Pass title last year. The game offers three campaign arcs to play through, as well as co-op and multiplayer modes.

Interestingly, Wargroove 2 apparently left the subscription service and then rejoined Game Pass in April alongside All You Need is Hope. This multiplayer title from the PixelJunk Shooter developers is also exiting Game Pass this month, per Xbox Wire. Q-Games notes that there is no single-player mode in All You Need is Hope, as the puzzle game requires working together in teams of four online or locally.

A remaster rounds out the group with We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie. Along with graphical upgrades, there are new challenges to tackle as a more youthful King. As always, Game Pass members can purchase any of these titles for 20% off until they exit the service on September 15.

Microsoft is also adding titles to the Game Pass library this month, including most prominently Hollow Knight: Silksong. GameSpot has compiled the best Xbox Game Pass games in 2025, and looking head, here is a list of every Game Pass title on the way this year and beyond.
